Haritha Hareesh is an emerging playback singer who has lent her melodious voice to many successful South-Indian movies. From an early childhood in the UAE to a budding professional career in Kerala’s tinsel town, Haritha’s journey is one that exemplifies talent combined with dedication and determination to reach for the sky in the music and cinematic world.
Haritha’s musical journey began when her parents, who were managing a music school in Sharjah, noticed her inclination towards music. Under the tutelage of musical guru Mohan Kumar since the tender age of three and a half years, at age five Haritha took to the stage for the very first time as a fish to water.
As she won accolades at various musical competitions across the UAE, numerous felicitations followed. Leading luminaries of the Malayalam film industry have acknowledged Haritha’s prodigious talent, among them being noted Malayalam movies music director M Jayachandran, who lauded her talents during a Mega Musical Event organized by the Koottam Association-UAE and leading playback singer Gayathri Ashokan.
Haritha’s exploits on the stage brought her into the limelight and very soon offers of working in music albums followed. Her very popular music videos proved to be the harbinger of both roles as child artiste and the chance to sing on the silver screen.
With her parents’ continued support, Haritha has now relocated to her home town of Thrissur for more intensive training in Carnatic music. Presently Haritha learning Music from Shri. Vamanan Namboothiri and Shri. Balamurali.
